A Whole Life: Chapters, Decades, Everyone Who Was There

A whole life is the largest thing Pianyu makes: chapters, decades, the people who were there.

It is not a mode you select on the first day. It is what a collection becomes when there is enough of it — several stories kept long enough, plus the old material that always arrives late: shoebox scans, a sibling's camera roll, ten years of images saved out of a chat app.

How it is assembled

Each stage becomes a section of its own: the town, the workshop, the years away, the return. Up to 250 older photographs can sit alongside the text, slotted into the timeline where they belong.

The engine arranges pages. It does not decide what your life meant, and it does not write the sentences. Chapters are cut where your material already divides; if a section runs long, it becomes more pages, not smaller type.

What it costs

$38.99, once. No subscription, nothing auto-renews. While payments are not yet open, everything is free to use.

Family material

More than one person can add to the same record. Each person's photos and words stay on their own device until they send a contribution into the circle; when the book is assembled, what the circle agreed to share comes in. Nothing is pulled from anyone's device without them sending it.

What you receive

A print-ready PDF, US Letter, 300 DPI, with bleed — chapters, contents, page numbers. Yours to print or to keep as a file.
